Running - The Mind-Body Connection in Running

Running is a mental sport. You can train hard, follow a healthy diet, all wear the right clothes and shoes, but if you're not in the correct position, nothing that you have done to prepare for questions.

Different people have different ideas about the role of mental preparation. Some say that 80% of physical, mental, 20%, while others say that it is 20% physical and 80% mental. The point is: There is a mind-body connection, and you can not underestimate the mental piece.

> Running only makes a good feeling. Running has been clinically shown to reduce tension and ease anxiety, depression, and build trust. Endorphins are "feel good" brain chemicals that are triggered by motion. Often, as a natural pain relievers, they have a calming effect on nerves and muscles.

You must have the motivation to run. Nothing can move your legs on the way, if your head and heart not just inside. Your reason can be executednothing to accomplish weight loss, fitness, a goal. They do not go running, unless your mind is preoccupied with your body. The power of your mind drives your body to a new level of action.

Running is a stepping stone to success. You have heard the expression, "Keep your eyes on the prize." That does not mean a real "price" necessarily. It means staying focused on a target. By setting a goal for yourself - even if it takes longer to 5 minutes everyday - you lead, you strengthen yourMotivation. A goal will help you to develop internal strength of will to achieve, what do you set a goal.

Running builds confidence. You reach a goal, every time you go out to run. And goals, like a staircase: every step brings you closer to the top and build your confidence on the road. You get better with each milestone you reach. Competence equal confidence. So if it's time to run or walk that 5K, faith in themselves can allDifference.

In running, there are many ways to win. Winning must not mean to come in 1st, 2nd or 3. The great thing is running, it's being run, most of us, against us - ready to go a little further or a little faster than we are currently going on. Want to be better is human nature.

Running teaches us a positive thinker. How do you train your body, your thoughts are with your training. Because we oftenTrain in similar places, day after day, we are able to visualize a good training day and realize how good we felt during a run. Then we can draw the visualizations and feelings as we prepared to be led a race. And when we cross that first finish line and feel the excitement and power, we see ourselves more and more crossing the finish line.
